Most sinners do not know there are sinners. They live a life where they are blind not only to God’s love but also to the fact that they are in sin. I love that Jesus was a friend to, who we call, sinners. When Jesus becomes your friend, He brings Truth, deliverance and salvation. You cannot know salvation unless you admit that you have sinned and are a sinner. If you do not know you are a sinner, you cannot accept Salvation. I am very grateful that Jesus is my friend and continues to show me the Truth.
I am also grateful to God for justification and I thank God for His assurance of our salvation. When life becomes tough, we may not react in the best manner, according to the Word of God. Or, we may have thoughts that question if we are still loved by God. His Word assures us that He does not un-save us when life becomes shaky. We can be assured by His Word that he will always be us.
